¿HOW TO RESERVE?

The ROEMZ hosts share their spaces throughout PANAMA. Just indicate your destination and travel dates in the search bar and you will find unique places to stay in any part of PANAMA. To book the hosts they want to know the guest before confirming the reservation. So you will have to enter all legal documentation that validates your information.

¿HOW TO CREATE A ROEMZ ACCOUNT?

As easy as using your email address or your Facebook or Google account. Registering on ROEMZ is totally free.

¿WHY DO I HAVE TO COMPLETE MY PROFILE OR ADD A PHOTO?

Your profile allows ROEMZ members to get to know you a bit before you book your space or receive you in your accommodation. A complete profile gives you the opportunity to show how you are to other users, which will convey confidence, authenticity and commitment. It is also mandatory that the hosts upload a photo to publish your ad. In the same way, guests must do the same to be able to book their first accommodation. A detailed profile includes: Profile photo. You must perform the verified identification process. A description explaining your decision to join the community of ROEMZ, your interests and hobbies or any other detail about you that seems worth mentioning.

¿WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO MAKE A RESERVE THROUGH ROEMZ?

Guests must include this information in their profile before submitting a reservation request. This information allows the hosts to know who they are going to host and how to get in touch with the guests. Guest requirements include: Full name. Email address. Phone number confirmed. Profile photo in which the guest’s face appears. Presentation message. Acceptance of house rules. Payment data. Hosts will not see the actual email address of guests, even after booking.

¿WHO CAN BE HOST ROEMZ?

Anyone who registers and has available space to rent can be a ROEMZ Host. If before you must meet certain rules and requirements.

¿WHAT LEGAL ASPECTS DO I HAVE TO CONSIDER BEFORE BEING A ROEMZ HOST?

Before becoming a ROEMZ host, for us it is very important that you understand how the legislation works in PANAMA. Article 21 Any lease less than forty-five days, in the district of Panama, is prohibited for those who do not have permission to public tourist accommodation (buildings or residences). Said act shall be sanctioned by the Tourism Authority of Panama, with a fine of five thousand balboas (B / .5,000.00) to fifty thousand balboas (B / .50,000.00), considering the seriousness of the fault and / or recidivism in said act, for part of the landlord. Persons who advertise by any means, including electronics, will be subject to these same sanctions.

NO, ROEMZ. do not charge for publishing your space. ROEMZ, a commission for renting your space through our platform that goes from 6% to 12%, which will depend on the time of stay of the Guest. This commission is deducted from both the Host and guest.

¿HOW DOES THE ANNOUNCEMENTS MODE?

At ROEMZ we are continually struggling against spammers and scammers. We implement algorithms to identify suspicious ads, and we rely on you to report any abuse or unpleasant behavior within the platform. All ads are verified daily, and if we find any that appear suspicious, we remove it.

¿HOW DOES INSURANCE WORK?

ROEMZ offers its customers automatic insurance with every booking online. This insurance is aimed at the hosts (property owners) covering the damages caused by the tenants who have booked their trip on the website of roemz.com as well as the guest. You can send photos of the damages caused to the property to the following email contact@roemz.com, with a detailed description of the facts and circumstances, as well as of the damages observed in your property. ¿IS IT NECESSARY TO ESTABLISH A CONTRACT WITH MY TENANT?

There is a rental agreement between the tenant and the tenant from the moment the host accepted the reservation request and the traveler confirmed it by making the corresponding payment. ¿WHO IS ADMINISTRATIVE?
